Nebraska quarterback Daniel Kaelin told the Cornhuskers coaching staff on Tuesday that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal, ESPN reported. He will have four years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-3 Kaelin was part of Nebraska's 2024 recruiting class. A former Elite 11 quarterback at Bellevue West High School in Nebraska, he took a redshirt season in 2024. He didn't appear in any games for Nebraska, with fellow freshman Dylan Raiola entrenched as the starter. Kaelin initially committed to Missouri in March 2023, then decommitted in favor of his home-state program. --Field Level Media
