FLATHEAD RESERVATION, Mont. – Native youth on the Flathead Reservation are making strides to support each other and shape their future independently from the federal government.

The story, titled "Thriving Together," highlights these efforts and was produced by writer Hannah Staus and photographer Maddie McCuddy, both involved in the Native News Program at the University of Montana.

Colton Little interviewed Staus and McCuddy to discuss the challenges they faced in finding and bringing this story to life.
