SHREVEPORT, La. – A Shreveport woman accused of stealing money from her employer surrendered to Shreveport police Wednesday.

SPD issued a news release Wednesday morning asking the public for help in locating AquaCollette Delaney, 46, who was wanted for felony theft. She turned herself in later in the day.

Delaney is charged in connection with the theft in March of $50,000 while employed as a loan officer for a lending company associated with Aqua Mortgage Corporation.

In a separate case, a woman with more than a dozen theft arrests on her record is still wanted following an investigation this month into the theft of more than $300 in merchandise from the Walgreens on North Market Street.

A review of Shantaria Pierce's criminal history revealed 15 prior theft arrests and seven convictions. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Anyone with information on Pierce's whereabouts is asked to contact the Shreveport Police Department at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
