Dear Editor;

At Christmas time, what if instead of wanting to be the richest and most powerful, we wanted to be the kindest and most humble?

Instead of wanting to win all competitions, we wanted to cooperate for the good of all?

Instead of wanting to have the most, we wanted to give the most?

Instead of being the bigliest big shot of them all, we wanted human beings to recognize their oneness?

Why, we wouldn’t be special, would we?

That would be un-American, wouldn’t it?

That would be bringing heaven to earth, instead of waiting for pie in the sky when we die.

What right minded person would want such a thing?
