YouTuber Catherine Paiz has finally broken her silence about the painful truth behind her divorce from Austin McBroom, according to E News. The former ACE Family star opened up about discovering her ex-husband's infidelity during what should have been a precious family moment. Catherine learned about Austin's cheating while they were getting their daughter Alaia's first haircut, with fans watching and cameras rolling for their popular YouTube channel. 

She had grabbed Austin's phone to capture the milestone moment when her own device died, only to witness a devastating text message appear on screen. The message began with words that would shatter her world, questioning Austin's love for his wife. Catherine, who was three months pregnant at the time, confronted Austin immediately after seeing enough of the message to understand he was having an emotional relationship with another woman. 

The full extent of Austin's betrayal became clear during Catherine's emotional interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, as reported by The Mirror. Catherine struggled to remember the exact number of affairs, stating there were simply too many instances to count accurately. When pressed for specifics, she revealed that Austin had cheated approximately twenty times throughout their marriage. The discovery process was particularly painful for Catherine, who had never looked through Austin's phone before that fateful day at the hair salon. She described feeling gaslit by Austin's behavior, constantly questioning whether she was imagining things or if his explanations were truthful. 

Austin had attempted to shift blame by claiming Catherine had given him permission to cheat as long as he did not embarrass her publicly, an accusation she vehemently denied. Catherine broke down in tears while explaining that she would never want her three children to think cheating was acceptable behavior in marriage. Austin had previously denied cheating allegations in 2021 when YouTuber Tana Mongeau made similar claims, calling her a clout chaser at the time. The former couple built their YouTube empire with over 18 million subscribers by sharing their family life with viewers, making their January 2024 divorce announcement particularly shocking to fans. Catherine has since moved forward with her life, currently dating tattoo artist Igor Ten while focusing on co-parenting their three children: Elle, Alaia, and Steel.
