Gigi and Bella Hadid have surprised the world by revealing they have a secret half-sister named Aydan Nix, as reported by Cosmopolitan. The famous supermodel sisters shared this news in a statement to the Daily Mail, explaining how their family had unexpectedly grown. Their father, Mohamed Hadid, had a brief relationship over twenty years ago while he was single, which resulted in a pregnancy. Aydan was born and raised in Florida, where she grew up with a man she considered her father until his death when she was nineteen years old.

After losing the man she knew as her dad, Aydan decided to take a genetic test out of curiosity, which led to discovering her biological connection to the Hadid family. The sisters first made contact with Aydan in late 2023 and immediately welcomed her with open arms. According to Cosmopolitan, they have cherished this unexpected addition to their family and have spent quality time together, including meetings with their father Mohamed.

The discovery of their half-sister came at a difficult time in Aydan's life, as E News reports that she was dealing with the loss of her father figure. The twenty-three-year-old Aydan is the biological daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Yolanda Hadid, who had their relationship shortly after Mohamed's divorce from Yolanda's mother, Yolanda's mother, in 2000. Gigi, who is thirty, and Bella, who is twenty-eight, explained that they have had many open and loving conversations as siblings about how to support and protect their newly discovered sister.

Aydan has been working as a fashion designer and stylist, following in the creative footsteps of her famous half-sisters. The family has made it clear that they want to respect Aydan's privacy and have asked the public to honor her right to anonymity as she continues building her life as a young woman in New York. E News confirmed that the sisters are committed to helping Aydan maintain her privacy while supporting her career in the fashion industry.

Page Six offers further details about Aydan's background and her journey in finding her biological family. The publication reveals that Aydan recently graduated from the prestigious Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, where she studied fashion. During her time at school, she worked as an intern with stylists and photographers while also taking a job as a sales associate at a vintage clothing store called Harley's.

Before moving to New York to pursue her fashion career, Aydan was an honor student and cheerleader at a prep school in Orlando, where she also worked a summer job delivering pizza for Domino's. According to Page Six, Mohamed Hadid has always known about Aydan's existence and maintains a cordial relationship with her, though he has not provided financial support.
