Sports card enthusiasts and collectors in Chicago will soon have a premier destination to explore their passion, as CardVault by Tom Brady prepares to open its doors in the Windy City. According to the company’s announcement, the new location will launch on Friday, August 1, situated at 1027 W Addison Street, Suite A107, directly across from the iconic Wrigley Field.
The Chicago location promises to deliver an enhanced shopping experience, featuring what the company announced as the most extensive collection of individual cards among all CardVault by Tom Brady stores. According to the press release, visitors will discover a carefully curated showroom filled with sealed products and single cards from leading manufacturers such as Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon, and Fanatics Authentic. The store's centerpiece vault will house authenticated signed memorabilia, including jerseys, helmets, and other equipment pieces.
The timing of the Chicago opening aligns strategically with the 2025 National Sports Card Convention, which will take place in Rosemont. The announcement mentions that CardVault will debut "The Tom Brady Collection" during this event, showcasing game-worn items, rare pieces from Brady's career, and personally selected sports cards from the quarterback's private collection. The store will also carry exclusive Chicago-themed CardVault merchandise, including hats, clothing, and accessories designed specifically for the local market.

Customer satisfaction appears strong at existing CardVault locations. According to Yelp reviews of the American Dream location in New Jersey, customers praise the store's "interesting collections" and "good customer service," noting the wide variety of cards and collectibles available, though some mention that certain premium items carry higher price points.
