Experience live music under Chicago Cultural Center’s Tiffany dome

Chicago will host another exciting Under the Dome concert on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the  Chicago Cultural Center, as reported by Chicago.gov. The free event takes place in Preston Bradley Hall on the third floor south, where the beautiful Tiffany dome creates a stunning backdrop for live music. According to the city's website, doors open at 5 p.m. for a clothing swap, while the main concert runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Featured artists bring local talent to the stage

The October show features two talented Chicago musicians who represent the city's diverse music scene. Rich Robbins, a local rapper and songwriter, will perform his energetic tracks for the audience. Singer-songwriter Demetruest will also take the stage, bringing a different musical style to the evening. Chicago.gov notes that both artists showcase the creativity and energy that makes Chicago's music community so special. The combination of these two performers promises an exciting night of entertainment under the historic dome.

Free entry and early arrival recommended

People can attend this concert without paying any admission fee, making it accessible to everyone in the community. The event website states that an RSVP is requested, but not required to enter the venue. However, officials from Chicago.gov warn that space may be limited, so arriving early is strongly encouraged. Entry begins at 5 p.m. at the Washington Street lobby, 77 E. Washington, where staff will scan QR codes or tickets.

Before and during the concert, attendees can participate in a clothing swap organized by Chicago Fair Trade's Conscious Closet Club. The swap runs from 5-8 p.m., pausing only during artist performances, and allows people to bring clean clothing items without stains and exchange them for up to five new pieces. Chicago.gov mentions that a Step & Repeat photo area will be available for people to show off their new outfits. The venue provides American Sign Language interpretation when requested 72 hours before the event through the RSVP system.
