Marvel has released a new trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” showing Tom Holland’s Peter Parker facing a harder life in a city that no longer remembers him. The trailer and ticket launch come as the film builds toward its theatrical debut on Friday, July 31, with early screenings for Prime Video members on Wednesday, July 29, according to Marvel.
The story centers on Parker working as a full-time Spider-Man while dealing with the strain of protecting New York alone. According to the official synopsis, that pressure sparks a change in Peter that he may not be able to control, even as a hidden threat emerges.

The trailer also shows Peter seeking help from Bruce Banner during a university science lecture, hinting at a connection between Spider-Man’s powers and the changes ahead, Yahoo reported. The footage points to a powerful enemy that the city cannot see, adding to the mystery around the film’s central conflict, according to Marvel.
Cast, format and release date
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo, Marvel confirmed. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Rachel O’Connor.

Marvel says the movie is being released in two native aspect ratios, with a 1.90:1 version for flat screens and a 2.39:1 version for scope screens. The company says the format is meant to create a more immersive theatrical experience by filling the screen more completely.
Marvel also said tickets are now on sale, with the film set to arrive in theaters on Friday, July 31. The studio is promoting the release as Peter Parker’s next major chapter after the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” when Doctor Strange erased him from everyone’s memory.
