The benefit serves as one of the organization’s most important fundraising events of the year, supporting year-round programming that provides Chicago youth with training in dance, vocal performance and stage production. More than a performance showcase, The Happiness Club emphasizes personal development, building confidence, discipline, leadership and teamwork through the performing arts.

Guests attending the July 19 event can expect high-energy performances from student members, highlighting the organization’s signature mix of choreography, hip-hop and vocal numbers. The evening will also include special recognition of this year’s Legacy Honoree, Chicago community leader George Daniels, whose career has helped preserve and promote Black music culture and youth in Chicago for decades.
The legendary George Daniels, famed founder of George's Music Room and celebrated as the "Godfather of Chicago Music," has a deep, ongoing relationship with The Happiness Club.

The event will also include performances by the Jesse White Tumblers and the Q Brothers.
For decades, The Happiness Club has served as a creative outlet and support system for young people, offering mentorship and performance opportunities that extend well beyond the stage. The benefit helps ensure that programming remains accessible to students from across the city.
