Gold Coast Art Fair coming to Grant Park June 20-21 with more than 200 juried artists!
Chicago’s summer art season officially hits its stride when the beloved Gold Coast Art Fair returns to Grant Park, and this year’s celebration promises another vibrant weekend of creativity, music and community spirit.
The 68th annual Gold Coast Art Fair takes place June 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, bringing more than 200 juried artists from across the country to one of the city’s most scenic festival settings. Held in Grant Park between Lake Michigan and the Art Institute, the longtime favorite invites visitors to stroll tree-lined paths while discovering original paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, photography and mixed-media works.

Often called one of Chicago’s most storied art festivals, the event draws thousands of visitors each year who come to browse, buy and meet the artists behind the work. The festival’s layout makes it easy to explore every booth along a walkable loop while enjoying lake views and the city skyline.
Beyond the art, the weekend offers a full festival atmosphere. Live music will fill the park, fest bars will serve wine, beer and sangria, and food vendors will offer plenty of tasty treats. Families will find plenty to love in the popular Kid Zone, packed with hands-on activities and creative fun for young artists.

The fair also gives back to the community. A portion of the $15 admission benefits WINGS Program, supporting its mission to help individuals and families escape domestic violence and build a path toward independence.
