Bid on a one-night Blackhawks locker room dinner with Jeremy Roenick, Danny Wirtz, rare Burgundy, whiskey and Chicago chefs, benefiting A Better Chicago.
Chicago sports fans, wine collectors and whiskey aficionados have until Friday evening to bid on what could be one of the city’s most unforgettable dining experiences: a private dinner inside the Chicago Blackhawks locker room with Blackhawks legends, exceptional wine, rare whiskey and a menu created by two of Chicago’s top culinary names.

The one-night-only experience is being auctioned through Chicago-based Unicorn Auctions, with proceeds benefiting A Better Chicago, a nonprofit that fights poverty by investing in promising organizations creating educational, career and other opportunities for Chicago youth. A Better Chicago says it has deployed more than $50 million in unrestricted funding and management support to help its nonprofit portfolio grow.

Bidding is open through Friday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m., giving the winning bidder and guests the chance to step behind the scenes for an evening that brings together Blackhawks history, fine dining and some seriously rare pours.
At the center of the experience will be a private dinner inside the Blackhawks locker room with Danny Wirtz, Jeremy Roenick and other Blackhawks alumni. For hockey fans, it is a chance to swap stories and enjoy dinner in a space normally reserved for the team.
The culinary lineup is equally impressive. Guests will sit down to a multi-course dinner prepared by Chicago culinary standouts Paul Kahan and Rob Levitt, paired with exceptional Burgundy, including Romanée-Conti, poured by a Master Sommelier.

Then comes the whiskey. Unicorn will curate a rare whiskey tasting featuring an extraordinary lineup that includes pre-Prohibition pours, Van Winkle, Willett and Stitzel-Weller. For serious collectors, the evening offers an opportunity to taste bottles that are rarely encountered outside private collections and specialty tastings.
The winning package also includes custom Blackhawks jerseys and Unicorn tasting kits for guests, along with tickets to the Blackhawks home opener, making the experience as much about the team as it is about the spirits.
The auction is another collaboration between Unicorn and the world of Blackhawks philanthropy. Unicorn previously partnered with the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation on a 2025 charity auction that raised a record-setting $392,625 in hammer value, demonstrating the appeal of pairing rare spirits with Blackhawks history and charitable giving.

For A Better Chicago, the auction proceeds support its broader mission of creating opportunity for Chicago youth. The organization uses a venture-philanthropy model, identifying promising youth-serving nonprofits and providing both funding and strategic support to help them expand their impact.
And for the person who wins the bid? Think of it as the ultimate Chicago night out, except the restaurant is the Blackhawks locker room, the dinner is prepared by acclaimed local chefs, the guest list includes hockey legends and the wine and whiskey lineup belongs in a collector’s vault.
The latest bid and full details are available through Unicorn Auctions.
