Chicago has once more claimed the crown - named Best Big City in the U.S. by readers of Condé Nast Traveler, marking a historic ninth straight year at No. 1 — a winning streak never before seen in the awards’ 30+ year history, according to this Choose Chicago press release.

This latest honor comes on the heels of a banner summer for the city’s hospitality sector. Demand and revenue for hotel rooms surged to record-breaking levels, underscoring Chicago’s magnetic appeal to travelers far and wide.
