Chicago's downtown will transform into an open-air gallery when Amdur Productions' Millennium Art Festival returns Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along East Lake Street at Stetson Avenue, just steps from Millennium Park.
Admission is free, making it an easy addition to a weekend exploring the Loop. More than 110 juried artists from across the country will showcase original works in every medium, including paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, ceramics, glass, mixed media, wearable art and home décor. Whether you're looking for a statement piece for your home or a one-of-a-kind gift, you'll have plenty to discover.
The festival offers much more than shopping for art. Visitors can enjoy live music throughout the weekend, artist demonstrations, interactive Kid Friendly Art Tents, face painting and a variety of food trucks, festival snacks and refreshing beverages, including beer, wine and piña coladas. The accessible layout makes it easy to stroll the booths while taking in the backdrop of Chicago's iconic skyline.
Presented by Amdur Productions, one of the Midwest's leading producers of juried art festivals, the event celebrates both established and emerging artists while giving visitors the opportunity to meet the creators behind the work. Returning award-winning artists will be joined by dozens of new exhibitors, creating an ever-changing collection of original artwork.
Whether you're an avid collector or simply looking for a fun summer outing, the Millennium Art Festival combines art, entertainment and great people-watching in one of Chicago's most vibrant settings.
