Steppenwolf Theatre Gala to celebrate 50 years

Chicago’s vibrant theatre community will gather for one of the city’s most anticipated cultural celebrations when Steppenwolf Theatre Company hosts its 2026 Gala on Saturday, May 9. This year’s gala will honor Douglas R. Brown and Rachel E. Kraft for their support of the arts. Leading the evening as co-chairs are Aimee Graham and Nigel Caine, along with Christopher Keogh and Verett Mims, who will help guide the festivities and fundraising.
