The Chicago Triathlon is back this weekend for its 41st edition, bringing a high-energy weekend of athletic feats to the city from Saturday, August 24 through Sunday, August 25.
According to a statement from race operator Supertri, this year’s event will welcome 8,500 athletes and thousands of spectators to the heart of the Windy City. The course begins at Lake Michigan before winding through the streets of downtown and concluding at Grant Park.
New this year is the Supertri League Race Series in which multiple elite athletes will go head to head, including numerous medalists from this year's recent Paris Olympics. The weekend’s events will also include the SuperSprint race, Kids Tri Chicago, and other exciting races.
