Just like the bears that call it home, Lincoln Park Zoo is coming out of hibernation for the spring and is ready to re-showcase its amazing exhibits to Chicagoans and tourists alike. Though known for its world-class wildlife enclosures and enchanting botanical gardens, the Lincoln Park Zoo also offers a plethora of diverse activities and events throughout the year to keep fans coming back all summer long.
One of the best recurring events hosted by the park, which will be restarting next month, is “Saturday Nights at the Zoo.” The adults-only, 21+ event gives visitors the chance to enjoy a special evening under the lights, complete with specialty food and beverage deals, while perusing the over 200 species of wildlife that inhabit the park.
The event features tons of fun activities, including lawn games, after-hours enclosure viewing, photo booths, and even karaoke at the Foreman Pavilion.

All of this is set to the sounds of some of Chicago's best DJs for those looking to dance the night away.
The event typically runs from 6:30-10 p.m. with early bird tickets available for $15. Tickets are purchasable at the door, but availability for the event is limited, so there are no guarantees of entry on the day of the event.
The first zoo night of the season will kick off Saturday, May 2, with other periodic occurrences throughout the summer.
Below are the current zoo nights scheduled on the calendar so far, with the potential for further dates being added as the year progresses:
Saturday, May 2
Saturday, June 13 (90’s Night)
Saturday, August 9 (2000’s Night)
