Olympia Fields Country Club set to host the 2023 BMW Championship

The top fifty PGA TOUR FedExCup standings players will compete in the 2023 BMW Championship hosted by the Olympia Field Country Club. Players will compete for the J.K. Wadley Trophy and one of thirty available spots in the TOUR Championship, ending the 2023 season.

The 2023 PGA Tour has produced what the organization has called a “star-studded field” that will allow golf fans to watch several previous championship winners and up-and-coming stars. Fan favorites include pro golfers Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler, the latter being the current No. 1 golfer in the world. The BMW Championship will provide fan enhancements and activities for guests located all across the grounds, including:

• The BMW Experience will feature a driving range and putting challenge hosted by Swag Golf. BMW Championship and The Evans Scholars Foundation Caddie Yard merchandise will be available for purchase, with BMW’s latest products on display. The experience will be located behind the clubhouse. 
  
  
• The Electric Vehicle Showcase: Destination Recharge will offer a close look at BMW’s expanding lineup of electric vehicles, complete with food trucks. The showcase will be located between the 10th and 18th holes.
  
  
• First Tee will provide stimulator golf lessons taught by First Tee coaches and available to all guests. The First Tee Game Changers Pavilion will also offer putting and drawing on a coloring wall. Fans can attempt to recreate Jon Rahm’s 66-footer from the 2020 BMW Championship outside the pavilion. This experience will be located between the 10th and 18th holes.

Guests will be able to enjoy food from Aurelio’s Pizza and Soul & Smoke BBQ located behind the 16th green and 15th hole fairway, respectively. Purchase tickets here through Ticketmaster. Children under fifteen can enter free if accompanied by an adult, and retirees, veterans, and current members/active reserves of any military branch are offered a complimentary ticket.

General parking will be available at the Lincoln Mall and passes must be purchased in advance. A complimentary shuttle service begins half an hour before the gates open at 7:30 a.m. and ends an hour after play has finished.

Tee time will begin at 8:10 a.m. each day and TV coverage is provided by NBC and Golf Channel. ESPN+ and NBCSports.com will stream the championship online.
