Riot Fest returns to Douglass Park from Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22. This independent music festival will feature punk, rock, alternative, metal, and hip-hop music with a star-studded lineup. Popular bands who will perform include Fall Out Boy, Lamb of God, The Offspring, and Public Enemy.
After a shocking announcement of a location change in June, the Riot Fest team released another statement last month to share that ‘Riotland’ would indeed return to Douglass Park, where the festival has been held for over a decade.
“If there was no Chicago, there’d be no Riot Fest,” the team said in a press release, responding to the decision to pivot from Bridgeview. “As we continue to build a long-term partnership with the City of Chicago, we remain focused on our shared vision of stability and growth in the neighborhood we call home.”
