Get ready Chicago, “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert is coming to the Windy City for the first time! The landmark late night talk show will broadcast from the Auditorium Theatre during the Democratic National Convention from August 19-22.

Colbert announced the upcoming Chicago DNC broadcast during Wednesday’s episode. The broadcast will mark the first time The Late Show has ventured from its traditional outpost at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City.

“Sweet home!”, Colbert exclaimed in his announcement. “Some may know, I lived in Chicago for eleven years, and it holds a special place in my heart”, he added, reflecting on his time at Chicago’s famed Second City theater and adjusting to the notoriously frigid temps. “So get ready Chicago cause this summer it's the return of Daaa Colbert!”
