The 2024 Paris Olympics are just days away, marking the first full Olympic games since the dawn of the Covid-19 pandemic. When is the opening ceremony?
The Paris Olympics opening ceremony will take place on Friday, July 26, according to the official Olympics site. The ceremony promises to bring a “bold, original, and unique” experience to the heart of Paris along the Seine River. For the first time, the ceremonial parade of athletes will take place in a series of boats, one for each national team.
When do the games begin?
The games officially kick off on July 24, two days before the opening ceremony, with men’s soccer as the first big event, followed by archery, football, and handball on July 25.
