Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual ZooLights is back for its 29th year, and Chicago Star is hosting a giveaway for an all access pass to the celebration. This much-anticipated holiday spectacular will delight guests of all ages with elaborate light displays and festive activities around the zoo.
This year’s ZooLights features new and modern LED light displays with interactive elements and a new garden-themed light show. Festive photo ops will be set up throughout the zoo and the Pepper Family Wildlife Center will feature visits with Santa alongside the zoo’s holiday tree and festive décor.
Returning this year are the traditional Victorian carolers traveling around on select nights, as well as the twinkling Light Maze, the Ferris Wheel, live ice carvers, and the expansive light tunnel on the zoo’s Main Mall.

Holiday-themed snacks and beverages will also be available at Landmark Café and at stations throughout the zoo.
Ticket sales from ZooLights directly support the zoo’s world-class animal care, global conservation efforts, and innovative learning programs. Events like this also help keep the Lincoln Park Zoo free to the public 365 days a year.
ZooLights celebration will be on display nightly beginning at 4:30 p.m. through January 4, 2024, and will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Chicago Star is hosting an exclusive giveaway in which two lucky winners will receive exclusive free tickets to Lincoln Park Zoo’s Adult’s Night Out, a special addition of the ZooLights program in which adults can visit the zoo after hours, enjoy a drink, and relax under the glow of the lights display.
