Six Flags Great America will be adding a new addition to the park in spring 2024 called Sky Striker, the Midwest’s soon-to-be tallest pendulum thrill ride.
This ride stands 17 stories tall, 172 feet in the air, and will swing back and forth on a massive pendulum, spinning into the sky at 75 miles per hour. The views of Six Flags Great America should be seen perfectly from the 130-degree swings, taking riders nearly upside down.
The Sky Striker is the first of its kind to be welcomed to the park, being one of the only rides that gives a freefall sensation like no other. This ride is predicted to be the maximum thrill level, creating ultimate stomach drops leaving you feeling as if you touched the sky.The record-breaking ride for the Midwest will debut in the spring of 2024 and will be stationed in its new home in the county fair section of the park.
Six Flags Great America also features discounts up to 70% off on season passes and tickets until September 5, allowing purchasers to enjoy the new 2024 ride experience and access spooky season’s Six Flags Fright Fest.
