JB Pritzker moving up the top ten rankings for 2028 presidential candidates

Listed below is the extremely unofficial and highly partisan listing of the top candidates right now for the Democratic candidate in the 2028 presidential election.

The fastest riser of the bunch? Illinois’ very own JB Pritzker.

Have you heard him speak lately? On the rise for sure! Much more polished, much more confident, and a strong anti-Trump message, all done without being too antagonistic.

Pritzker’s message is targeted and point-specific as he puts up a strong defense against the current administration. It is almost like each and every time out, he gains more confidence and more performance bravado.  Pritzker started out as a longshot but recent performances have propelled him all the way up to number four right in our unofficial rankings!  A near-meteoric rise, so keep an eye on JB as he continues to fine-tune his message to the national public.

Now…Here are the current rankings for the top ten candidates to be the Democratic nominee in the 2028 election.

No. 10  Ro Khanna: California state rep, becoming more of a national figure. Soft-spoken, but strong and intelligent. Comes across well on television and in press conferences.

No. 9 “AOC,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: She leads the far-left liberal faction and can be rebellious. But don’t count her out!  Remarkable stage presence, fiery delivery, and can rouse up the base for sure. If this were a horse race,  she would be charging fast down the backstretch

No. 8  Josh Shapiro: Pennsylvania governor, who almost was Kamala’s vice presidential candidate.  Solid, well-spoken, well-groomed—but is there enough spark?

No. 7  Cory Booker: Fresh off his marathon, record-setting 25-hour speech in the Senate, Booker is hot right now. Winning message, winning smile, great verbal delivery. Maybe a VP candidate, but still in the top ten for presidential contenders.

No. 6  Gretchen Whitmer: Michigan governor. Strong voice and strong candidate for sure. Are we ready to put up another female after Hilary and Kamala failures?  We shall see.

No. 5  “Mayor Pete,” Pete Buttigieg: If you forgot his previous experience, looks, and sexual orientation, then nobody would rank higher than Buttigieg. His intelligence, depth of thinking, and worldly perspective–and ability to communicate–are off the charts. Bonus: Nobody beats this dude in a debate.

No. 4 JB Pritzker: Longtime Illinois governor becoming more and more a lead spokesman for the Democratic Party. His resistance to Trump in a matter-of-fact, strong, persistent way has captured the attention of many.  He speaks and communicates well. Best of all, he does it not in a firebrand, hollering and shouting kind of way, but more straightforward and strong on point.

No. 3  Wes Moore: First Black ever elected to high office in the great state of Maryland, Moore has a lot going for him. His demeanor, stage presence, intelligence, and background are all first-class presidential.  Moore has some of former President Barack Obama’s same charisma and easy likeability. Not quite the same…but close.

No. 2 Gavin Newsome: The California governor is the master communicator. Smooth, good sense of humor, doesn’t take himself too seriously, very well-spoken, and has “the look” that could capture the Democratic left. Does he have an all-out national appeal? Is he too smooth for the masses? We shall see.

No. 1 None of the Above: Was and still is the leading candidate.  Specifically, that feeling out there that someone magical, with loads of charisma and a message to match it is out there somewhere. Who, what, when, and where are still to be determined, but remember—nobody knew who Obama was either a few years before he got elected.
