To celebrate the beginning of autumn, the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce will host its 37th Annual Apple Fest on Saturday, October 5 through Sunday, October 6 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. A long-standing community tradition, Apple Fest will feature close to 100 vendors and farms from Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana.
Apple lovers can delight in the many apple variations that specialty food vendors will have on sale, including apple butter, apple pies, apple empanadas, apple brats, apple cider donuts and other pastries, and apple granola. Drink vendors will feature a variety of ciders, Oktoberfest beers, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Retail vendors will also provide fun activities and trinkets such as natural Henna body art, handmade functional pottery, candles, jewelry, luxury soaps, and printed artwork. Live music, storytime reading, and other family-fun entertainment will take place on stage both Saturday and Sunday.
Apple Fest takes place on Lincoln Avenue between Lawrence and Sunnyside and a $5 donation is suggested upon entry.
