On Tuesday, March 21, CloudBar at 360 Chicago hosted its ‘Springtime Sips: An Evening Above the City’ cocktail party to celebrate their official opening back in September 2022. Located 94 floors up, the swanky 18-seat bar with mirrored ceilings and walls shares a home with the 17,000-square foot Observation Deck and TILT Ride in the former John Hancock building.

The evening included a complimentary bar with specialty cocktails inspired by Chicago’s neighborhood. Guests could choose to sip on the Feelin’ Tiltsy cocktail, the show-stopping aqua-blue Heavenly Martini, a caffeinated Cold Brew Martini, or the OG Classic Michelada, along with various beer and wine selections.

Catering was provided by The Fat Shallot food truck, who served a variety of delicious sliders. Garrett Popcorn also provided bags of Garrett Mix, a combination of their world-famous cheddar and caramel popcorn. A live DJ bumped lively tunes well throughout the night. And magician Rebecca Spectre circled the room, sweeping guests off their feet with her charm and tricks.

Guests were also given exclusive access to enjoy unlimited thrill rides on TILT, one of the tallest attractions in the world. Brave souls can hang on to the rails as the window tilts out just far enough to make someone lose their equilibrium, though it makes for spectacular views that can’t be found anywhere else. On a clear day, four states can be seen from the 94th floor.

Renovations to CloudBar and 360 Chicago include gorgeous hardwood flooring across the entire space. Renowned Chicago street artist Lauren Asta also provided the design for the curtains to separate the bar from the rest of the floor.

Visitors looking to get a 360-degree view of the city and sip on specially crafted cocktails at CloudBar can choose from various ticket packages on their website.
