Krispy Kreme brews magic with Harry Potter-themed doughnuts & Golden Snitch latte

Beginning Monday,  August 18, through Sunday, September 14, Krispy Kreme is bringing fans an enchanting experience with a new line of Harry Potter-themed doughnuts. According to the company’s announcement today, the collection—four of which are inspired by the four Hogwarts houses—includes five magical varieties available at participating locations across the US. This flavor transformation comes through a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

"We're channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter and the Houses of Hogwarts for a collection that is truly bewitching," Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in the company’s press release. "But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!”

Doughnut enthusiasts can soon savor flavors capturing the essence of each Hogwarts house for a limited time. Each new doughnut is described on the Kripsy Kreme website and is topped with the crest of each Harry Potter house: 

 Gryffindor Doughnut

• The Gryffindor Doughnut is a cookie butter Kreme-filled delight, topped with Biscoff cookie crumb and red icing.

Slytherin Doughnut

• Plunge your teeth into a Slytherin Doughnut, an Original Krispy Kreme Glazed adorned with chocolate and green buttercream swirls.

Hufflepuff Doughnut

• For Hufflepuff loyalists, the Hufflepuff Doughnut is unglazed, filled with a brown butter toffee custard, dipped in golden icing, and topped with chocolate drizzle and cookie crunch.

Ravenclaw Doughnut

• Ravenclaw fans can relish the Ravenclaw Doughnut, a blueberry-iced doughnut topped with sprinkles.

Fifth Special Flavor: Sorting Hat Doughnut

• Additionally, the Sorting Hat Doughnut offers a surprise filling flavor tied to one of the houses, topped with a Sorting Hat figure, and comes in a special edition box while supplies last.

Harry Potter-themed lattes

Adding to the indulgence, Krispy Kreme also announced the new toffee-inspired Golden Snitch Latte, crowned with golden sugar, which provides the perfect sip alongside themed doughnuts. Whether purchased solo or in custom-designed dozen boxes, these delightful treats all promise a sweet, enchanting journey for one’s taste buds.

Free doughnuts on Houses of Hogwarts Day 

On Saturday, August 23, Krispy Kreme shops across the nation invite fans to celebrate Houses of Hogwarts Day, according to the announcement. Customers who commemorate their Hogwarts pride with themed attire can receive a complimentary Original Glazed doughnut, no purchase needed, at participating shops while supplies last.
