Lagunitas Brewery has reopened its North Lawndale brewpub following a 3-year closure spurred by the Covid-19 pandemic. Guests are now able to return in person to enjoy the establishment’s 32 different taps and a variety of food selections.

The opening announcement came last week, with the brewery writing in an instagram post “Starting 4/13 #LagunitasChicago will be back open and servin' up fresh brews and a whole new menu of seasonal munchies BIG and small.” Known for its laid-back atmosphere and wide selection of craft beers, it is part of the larger Lagunitas Brewing Company, founded in California in 1993.
After opening their Chicago location in 2014, Lagunitas quickly became a local favorite with beers like Little Sumpin’ Sumpin and Island Beats. The brewery also offers walking tours, live music performances, and a merchandise store.
