Mother pleads as search for missing Wisconsin grad student Eliotte Heinz continues

The search for 22-year-old Eliotte Hein, a graduate student from Wisconsin, has intensified as her family and community plead for any information regarding her disappearance. Eliotte was last seen on the 500 Block of Front Street South in La Crosse, Wisconsin, around 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, shortly after leaving Bronco's Bar, as reported by People.

Her family has expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received from the community. "We are deeply grateful for the kindness, prayers, and encouragement," they said in a statement shared by WMTV. The community is being urged to share Eliotte's information and check security cameras for any clues to her whereabouts.

The La Crosse Police Department, along with university officials, is actively following up on all leads. "Thank you to the community for your support and information provided," they mentioned in WMTV’s report. Authorities have asked anyone with knowledge to contact the police department directly.

Eliotte’s mother, Amber Heinz, has been vocal in appealing for public assistance. "If you have Ring cameras and you think you might have captured an image of Eliotte, please call them, let them take a look at your footage," she said during a community prayer service, according to Fox News. Meanwhile, the university is organizing volunteer efforts to spread awareness and distribute missing person fliers.
