WWE is coming back to United Center for a major wrestling event on Saturday, Feb. 28. According to the official WWE announcement, this will be the first Premium Live Event at the venue in over 30 years. The United Center, America's biggest indoor arena, last hosted a WWE pay-per-view in August 1994, when SummerSlam opened the newly built stadium. WWE is working with Choose Chicago, the city's tourism organization, to bring this exciting event to wrestling fans. Alex Varga, who helps run WWE's business operations, said Chicago fans are known for their amazing energy and passion. The company is thrilled to return to this historic venue after so long.

The F4W Online report notes that the United Center holds special meaning for Punk, since he returned to professional wrestling there in 2021. This event happens on the path to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas in April. The show will probably include men's and women's Elimination Chamber matches that determine who competes at WrestleMania.
