The event begins on Thursday, August 21, with the Chicago House Music Conference and Cultural Center Open House, where attendees can enjoy community conversations, dance workshops, and live DJ sets at the Chicago Cultural Center. According to the schedule, panel discussions will delve into themes like creative processes, music marketing, and the impact of House Music on culture.

DCASE Commissioner Clinée Hedspeth stated in the press release that this year’s lineup “pays tribute to the genre’s deep roots in the city while spotlighting the next generation of DJs and artists.”
On Friday, August 22, the festival moves to Grant Park's Spirit of Music Garden for Chicago House at SummerDance, offering dance masterclasses and performances by DJs Vince Adams and Lil John. The following day, Millennium Park hosts mainstage acts, including Andre and Tony Hatchett, DJ Pharris Thomas, and Ralphi Rosario. Featuring four stages and additional dance summits, the day promises to be a vibrant celebration of music and culture.

The festival wraps up on Sunday, August 24, with Wind Down: House on the Riverwalk, providing a relaxing afternoon with grooves by DJ Jerome Baker and Julio Bishop along the Chicago River. The event is brought together by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), and sponsors like Millennium Garages and the Chicago Transit Authority.
