The Ravenswood On Tap festival returns, celebrating Chicago's vibrant craft brew scene in Malt Row. This two-day event, taking place on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20, promises a weekend filled with locally made beers, exhilarating live performances, and a multitude of attractions. According to the website, attendees are invited to enjoy extended hours, allowing an extra two hours of fun on Sunday.
Visitors can look forward to tasting selections from acclaimed breweries such as Begyle Brewing, Dovetail Brewery, and KOVAL Distillery. In addition to craft beers, the event features lively music performances from bands like Punk’d and She’s Crafty, alongside special appearances by artists such as Toronzo Cannon and Joanna Connor. As noted by the festival's organizers, each performance enhances the community feel of the gathering. Food enthusiasts will also find plenty of options, with vendors like Bad Johnny’s Wood-Fired Pizza and Cafe Tola lining the streets.

Ticket and contribution details
Ravenswood On Tap offers various ticket packages for attendees who want to experience all the festival has to offer. The "Hop Head Bundle" includes four full pour tickets, an axe-throwing pass, and a reusable steel tumbler, whereas the "Buddy Bundle" provides six full pour tickets and additional merch. As reported by thefestival’s site, each ticket purchase helps fund community projects led by the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and the Ravenswood Community Council. Furthermore, a suggested donation of $10 goes towards local business and community programming support.
The main entrance is conveniently located at the intersection of Ravenswood and Berteau avenues. The festival can be easily accessed by public transport via the Brown Line or several bus routes. Besides relishing the event, attendees can make a cash donation to aid public art projects in the Ravenswood area.
