Family and pet-friendly fun
The festival invites families to enjoy Kid Fest, offering train rides, bounce houses, and pony rides. It's a kid-friendly environment with dedicated entertainment and activities, organized by Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy. The Kid Fest also encourages vendors to offer fun engagements for children, with all registration fees supporting community organizations.
Pet lovers can enjoy the Pet Fest, organized by Canine Crews. It features a dog obstacle course, paw painting, and various pet-related demonstrations. The festival’s inclusive environment allows well-behaved dogs on leashes to join the festivities.
Admission to West Fest Chicago is by suggested donation, supporting local nonprofits like the West Town Chamber of Commerce, animal shelters, and Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy. Although the event takes place in a public area and donations are not required, attendees are encouraged to contribute to cover event costs.
