MLK Commemoration at The University of Chicago
TheUniversity of Chicago will host a commemoration ceremony honoring the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 6 p.m. at the historic Rockefeller Chapel in Hyde Park, on January 30.

Black Creativity Family Day at the Museum of Science and Industry
The Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) is celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 15, with Black Creativity Family Day. The event will feature the opening of MSI’s newest show, the Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition.This exhibit, which runs until April 21, showcases the work and achievements of Black and African American artists while encouraging creativity in young children of color.
