A Chicago artist is putting the Midwest on shelves across the region through a new limited-edition bottle from Ice Mountain. According to a press release, the aluminum bottle, designed by illustrator and muralist Katie Lukes, is now available throughout the Midwest and is meant to reflect connection, community, and culture.
Lukes said the design is intended to capture the energy of the place she calls home. Her work as an artist centers on joy and on noticing the small moments that often get lost in busy days, and that idea helped shape the look of the bottle, the announcement added.

The collaboration marks the first time Ice Mountain has worked with a local artist on a limited-edition bottle design, according to the press release. The brand said the artwork brings together the region in a way that reflects the pulse of the communities it serves.
Midwest design on millions of bottles
The bottle is appearing on millions of packages across the Midwest as part of a season-long campaign. The campaign also features Ken Griffey Jr. as what Ice Mountain calls “baseball’s first-ever CEO of H2O,” giving the promotion a broad sports and lifestyle angle.

According to the announcement, Ice Mountain is one of the most sold brands in the Midwest, helping the new design and local artist reach a vast audience. The company’s rollout turns the bottle into more than packaging, using it as a canvas for regional identity. Through this partnership, Luke’s artwork now extends from walls and drawings to store shelves across the Midwest.
