The team behind Adalina Prime and Adalina Italian recently revealed plans for ARLA. According to the announcement, this new spot will come to Chicago's Gold Coast in summer 2026. It joins their growing list of hits.
Adalina Prime opened in Fulton Market in 2025. It earned a spot on Robb Report’s “Most Beautiful New Restaurants 2025,” the press release confirms. Adalina Italian launched in the Gold Coast in 2021 and keeps drawing crowds.
A taste of sea and sky
ARLA takes over the top floor at 15 East Oak Street. The spot once held Barneys New York’s Fred’s, according to the press release. It reportedly spans 8,500 square feet with room for 230 indoors.
Two open-air terraces add 60 seats. Guests will be able to view Lake Michigan and busy Oak and Rush streets. The design mixes Mediterranean warmth and Japanese minimalism.
Chef/Partner Soo Ahn leads the kitchen, the announcement confirms. His menu blends seaside Mediterranean flavors with Japanese techniques. Expect fresh seafood, veggie dishes, hearth proteins, sushi, and raw bar picks.

A new Chicago restaurant group is born: Hospitality Included
The team formed Hospitality Included, a new Chicago restaurant group, per the announcement. Partners include Phil Siudak, Matt Deichl, Miles Muslin, and Jonathan Gillespie. They focus on operations and top service.
“Through Adalina Prime and Adalina Italian, we’ve been able to shape and sharpen our approach, learning the type of hospitality that resonates with our guests and how to deliver it consistently,” said Siudak, as reported by the press release. “Hospitality isn’t an add-on for us, it’s our foundation from the front door to the kitchen. We’re excited to continue this approach in our next chapter with ARLA, just steps from where our group began.”
The group aims to expand. More on ARLA comes soon. Check @arlachicago on Instagram or www.hospitalityincluded.com.
Nearby eateries include Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House, Tavern On Rush, and Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse.
