Chicago’s northwest side is set to host two massive craft beer festivals this July, celebrating the region’s booming brewing culture. Horner BrewFest 2026 marks its 10th anniversary on Friday, July 17, while Ravenswood On Tap returns for its ninth year on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19.

Horner BrewFest: 35+ breweries and soul music
Located at Horner Park (2741 W. Montrose Ave.), Horner BrewFest 2026 offers four hours of craft beer tasting and delicious cider from over 35 local breweries, including Revolution, Pipeworks, and Half Acre. General Admission tickets are $50, covering entry, a collectible glass, and unlimited samples, while designated drivers can attend for $15. Attendees must be 21 or older; no children, pets, or strollers are allowed.
The festival features hot live music by Chicago’s renowned cover band, Soul Daddy, known for its horn-driven funk and soul, according to the website. Local food trucks from Irving Park Pizza & Patio, Fat Shallot, Soul + Smoke, and Cafe Tola will line the park, offering various culinary delights.
Ravenswood On Tap: Malt Row’s local celebration
Ravenswood On Tap takes place at the Ravenswood Corridor (Ravenswood and Berteau Avenues), focusing entirely on local Malt Row breweries like Begyle, Dovetail, and Spiteful. The event accepts a $10 suggested donation to benefit the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and community art projects. Drink tickets are available for $8 (12oz) or 3 for $12 (5oz).

Visitors enjoy KOVAL Distillery cocktails, special tappings, and killer live music from independent Chicago musicians, including Bev Rage & the Drinks and Joanna Connor.
