Summer Game Fest 2026 will take place on Friday, June 5, and host Geoff Keighley says the live show is expected to be the biggest yet, according to IGN and the event’s official site. The two-hour showcase will feature world premieres, special guests and a follow-up Day of the Devs stream focused on indie games, Summer Game Fest confirmed.

The event will be held live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and will be presented by Keighley and Lucy James, according to Summer Game Fest. The official site says viewers can expect “the first look at the biggest upcoming games.”
Confirmed games and likely reveals
Among the games confirmed for the show are Fortnite, which will premiere its new season there, and a world-first gameplay look at Star Wars Zero Company, according to Insider Gaming. CLUTCH and Blood Message will also get new trailers, while the status of Among Us and Guild Wars remains unclear, Insider Gaming reported.

Several other titles are being talked about for possible appearances, including Final Fantasy 7 Part 3, Alien Isolation 2, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Injustice 3 or another DC fighting game, Metro 2039, Halo: Campaign Evolved and Hogwarts Legacy 2, according to Insider Gaming.
Summer Game Fest is known for major announcements and surprise reveals, and the official event page says the showcase will stream live to a global audience. IGN says viewers can watch through Geoff Keighley’s official The Game Awards channels on YouTube or Twitch.
