White’s move to Charlotte
White, 26, left Chicago in February after six and a half seasons with the Bulls, the Real Deal reported. The team traded him to the Charlotte Hornets, bringing the Goldsboro, North Carolina, native closer to home and to his former college program at the University of North Carolina.
According to the Tribune, Charlotte later re-signed White to a three-year, $74 million contract. Public records had not identified the mansion’s buyer, and White’s listing agent, Paul Gorney of eXp Realty’s Chicago Sports and Luxury Pro Group, declined to comment, the report added.
White is among several former Bulls figures selling homes in the Lincoln Park area after leaving the organization. Former coach Billy Donovan has sought $4.5 million for his home, while Nikola Vučević was asking $5.2 million for his property, according to The Real Deal.
