Chicago’s summer concert season is bringing a steady stream of major acts to the city’s biggest venues, with shows scheduled from Soldier Field to the United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field. The summer season of music festivals and arena shows is already well underway.

Among the big draws in late June are Morgan Wallen’s “Still the Problem” Tourat Soldier Field from Friday, June 19, through Saturday, June 20; Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire at the United Center on Friday, June 26; and Ed Sheeran’s “LOOP” Tour at Soldier Field on Saturday, June 27.

Ballpark shows anchor the season
Baseball stadium concerts are part of the lineup as well. According to the White Sox, DJ Marshmello is set for a concert after the game on Friday, June 26, followed by Ja Rule postgame on Friday, Aug. 7, and Cole Swindell on Friday, Sept. 18.
Each performance follows a game, with ticket buyers able to stay for the show after the final out. Marshmello’s concert comes after the White Sox face the Kansas City Royals, while Ja Rule follows a game against the Cleveland Guardians. Cole Swindell is set to play after the game against the Detroit Tigers.

Tickets, passes and artist details
For two of the shows, the team is offering an exclusive field pass package that gives fans an on-field view of the concert, plus a ticket to the game, according to the White Sox. The packages for Marshmello and the other field-pass concerts are sold out, the team said.

Fans can still attend the concerts by buying tickets to the game itself, the website confirms. Space is limited for the field-pass experience, and the team is steering interested fans to its ticket options for game access.
According to the White Sox website, Marshmello, a Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, has worked with artists including Halsey, Khalid, P!NK, and Sting, and recently renewed his focus on dance music. Ja Rule, a rapper and actor, is known for hits including “Always on Time” and for roles in films such as “The Fast and the Furious.” Additionally, Swindell is a multi-platinum country artist with 14 No. 1 singles as a singer and songwriter.
The concerts add to a busy Chicago summer music calendar that also includes major shows at Soldier Field and the United Center.
